Meta wanted more Nigerian small businesses advertising on its platforms. The barrier wasn't budget — it was capability. Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, and WhatsApp for Business are powerful, but to an owner-operator running a shop in Lagos or Enugu, they can feel impenetrable.

The gap wasn't knowledge of what the tools did. It was confidence to actually use them. Any training we built had to move people past the "I'll try it later" threshold — and into the uncomfortable middle where they run a real campaign with their own money on the line.
